How to deal with hate on Social Media

I’ve been creating on Social Media for over 2 years now (X)

And obviously I received a little bit of hate.

The first time it happened…

I was stun locked.

Not understanding why

as I believed I didn’t do anything.

(I didn’t)

But you learn very quickly

That the internet can get very angry

EVERYONE has their own subjective opinions

That’s just a fact as a creator/consumer.

The second time it happened I was in aw

Still not really getting why?

But the third time?

Yeah I just brushed it off and laughed.

At that point a build a small name for me on X

And realized people are just envious on insecure…

But some of them just straight up stupid.

But amongst all that hate there is also love.

And I get 50x more love that I do hate.

Or At least I believe so.

Why?

Because it’s the only comments I will ever read.

Just like who you stand by (network-Network)

What you consume creates your character.

So the best thing to do

is simply ignore it.

But I’m not gonna lie.

Time to time I enjoy trolling.

But only if they say something objectively wrong.

So why?

Why react to such comment?

Two reason:

1: Protect your reputation

2: Grow thicker skin yourself.

FIRST: If someone is calling you a M*rder*r straight up

Then you’ll want to clean that up to protect your reputation

And even worse if a person with a bigger reputation does it,

But to keep these kind of conversations in the back end though

Not in the public eye

SECOND: If you want to fight your way out of hate..

You will need to grow thicker skin because-

Even if you cure cancer.. people will STILL hate you

Yeah it’s fkn crazy I Know.

And hate can really get to people.

So I like to sprinkle in a bit of trolling.

Why?

Because it’s Fkin funny bro.

Like you know when you’re board and you wanna be challenged?

Yeah shits fun.

BUT I would only do this if you know your mind can handle it.

Theses haters often try to get a reaction out of you.

Which could ruin your reputation.

So in short:

Best to avoid hate.

And make sure to surround yourself with supporters.

Because it is those people who really count.

Those haters are low life broke ah mfs anyway.
