How to remain Authentic in your content.

The power of authenticity

Authenticity is the heart of X.

And Authenticity doesn’t just mean original ideas.

The most important part is having a consistent message.

Hot take:

But there is nothing wrong with writing content using AI.

Because at the end of the day, you are the prompter

And you also decide what gets to be published.

This is not an excuse for stealing content from others however.

But to my point, keeping a constant message is key.

If you are not ready to debate with others on your world view and your ideas.

You’ve lost, you have 0 authenticity and you just become a yes man.

So how do we find our Authentic self?

Here are 3 things to Strongly Consider to find your voice:

Find your Voice

Ask yourself: what makes you Unique?

Are you bold? Are you positive? are you intelligent?

What makes you stand out?

Once you find that ground, you need to keep your message consistent.

You can’t say one thing, than tomorrow say the audience.

You’ll contradict yourself and look like a yes man.

You’re audience is not stupid, they know when you’re fake.

Pro tip: Write like you’re talking to a friend, keep it conversational.

Share your Story

Don’t shy away from sharing your deeper stories, people like stories.

But more importantly, people like to feel relatable with their favourite creators.

Instead of a random “motivational Monday” post.

Share a specific moment you went through and how you overcome it.

This is how people will relate to you.

Pro tip: Write a conflict of yours, than break it down how you overcome it.

Align with your values

Don’t chase trends to stem away from who you really are.

We see a lot of evil going on in the world.

But you are a business, not an influencer.

Don’t post something just because it’s trendy.

You may temporarily gain impressions, but you will actually hurt your X account.

If you do feel it’s important enough to post about, limit it to one post

And keep it to your constant message, that’s it.

Pro tip: Share your passion. Tech, sports, writing, etc.

Do’s - Post what feels true to you, not what others are talking about.

Don’ts - Copy someone’s style just because it seems like they are making a ton of money.

At the end of the day, this is what a personal brand is.

It’s you being you, Consistently.

Stay hungry

Stay strong

See you tomorrow!
