Stop giving everything away for free.

The Story for why many people remain stagnant.

In partnership with

You’re out there pouring your heart and soul.

You’re working long hours but it seems like you can’t even break $1,000 MRR (or less).

Why?

Because you’re giving it all away without building something that sticks.

And no, I’m not talking about your product or service,

I’m talking about your brand’s soul.

Here’s the thing:

you’re not a charity, so stop acting like one.

Every post, every story, every “authentic” moment you share is a chance to build a connection that lasts longer than a like on X.

But if you’re just throwing content out there without a strategy, you’re basically handing out free samples with no plan to close the deal.

I’m talking sales here.

I’m talking about loyalty, obsession, the kind of vibe that makes people choose you.

So, how do you stop being the internet’s doormat and start building a brand people can’t stop thinking about?

  1. Own your story

Stop letting your audience piece together who you are from random posts.

Craft a narrative that’s so clear, so you, that people feel like they’re part of something bigger when they engage.

Think Nike’s “Just Do It” vibe.

simple, bold, and impossible to forget.

  2. Tease, don’t spill.

You don’t need to share every detail of your process or every thought in your head. Mystery is magnetic.

Drop hints, share glimpses, and let your audience lean in to figure out the rest. Stop oversharing like it’s a therapy session.

  3. Make them feel something.

Nobody remembers a brand that’s just “nice.”

Stir emotions, pride, nostalgia, even a little bit of envy.

Apple doesn’t just sell phones; they sell a lifestyle you want to be part of.

    What’s your version of that?

  4. Consistency isn’t boring, it’s power.

You can’t expect people to care about your brand if you’re showing up like a flaky friend who only texts when they need something.

Pick a vibe, a voice, a visual style, and stick to it.

Subtle shade: if your brand’s aesthetic looks like a Pinterest board with commitment issues, fix it.

  5. Build a tribe, not a fanbase.

Fans come and go; tribes stay. Create spaces, online or off where your people can connect with each other, not just you.

    Think of Harley-Davidson’s ride-or-die community.

Your brand should feel like a club people are dying to join.

None of this is about converting customers.

It’s about creating a brand so compelling that people can’t help but want to be part of it.

Stop scattering your energy like confetti and start building something that lasts.
