You know what’s crazy?
The fact that people will write out a dm message…
Read it and think.
“AH YES THIS WOULD BE SO FKN PERFECT”
And then they mass spam it to people.
And then wonder why people don’t read or respond.
One of the most common mistakes I make I’ve seen is when people send a cold DM without doing any research.
99% of you reading this know I am a ghostwriter and that I offer consulting.
YET! I still get some fucking idiots who will pitch their ghostwriting offer…
This pisses me off the most.
They do 0 research on what I do, they just blast DMs.
They spray 2000 dms in a day without and research into the person hoping that one will land.
That’s like offering crypto services for people who support a non profit charity…
What I am saying is that spraying wishing for luck is pointless.
Now I am not saying that all emails have to be clean.
Yes you should have a script ready to do cold emails that you think are reader.
KEYT WORD: ARE READY!
Not just some random fkn thing.
Anyway.
Research doesn’t have to be something you spend hours on doing.
It could be a simple profile audit.
It takes 2 seconds to read someone’s bio or someone’s content.
That is honestly the best thing that you can do.
You want to look and see if there are people who are ready for that.

Let me break down how I would do it:
I would open someone pfp.
Read their bio, read their content.
If they are someone who I think I could help.
I will send them a personalized DM.
If they say “not interested”
I offer them a follow up with my FREE newsletter.
That will teach them, but not implement my services.
And more often then not, most of my clients come from emails.
Because emails build authority
Whilst X followers is just a number that nobody give af about.
So back to the point.
I will always get DM’s like:
“YO BRO YOU WANT THIS”
I think to myself…
Bro who tf are you??
I’ve never seen you interact with me…
I don’t know your voice.
And I’ve never seen you on the timeline.
seriously it just pisses me off sometimes.
Don’t get me wrong, I am nicer than what I made myself to sound like just now.
If someone is making a genuine effort and I say no, I will kindly tell them “I just don’t need that service right now”.
And they’re very nice about it.
But if you can’t even be bothered to read my offer and spam random cold dms..
Yeah you lost me.

When I see this, I immediate close it and forget you exist.
It’s not just me though, you end up wasting a potential relationship with anyone.
Listen I am fine for using ai to help plan and give ideas and then help you tweak stuff.
But when it’s literal copy n paste and I see that fkn ‘Em dash’ yeah it’s GGs bro.
